The Bible contains six admonishments to homosexuals and 362 admonishments to heterosexuals. That doesn't mean that God doesn't love heterosexuals. It's just that they need more supervision.

But there were those who feared the particle and would stop at nothing to destroy it. Catapulted into the heart of a terrible struggle, Lyra was forced to seek aid from clans, gyptians, and formidable armored bears. The tale follows the beautiful princess Giselle as she is banished by an evil queen from her magical, musical animated land--and finds herself in the gritty reality of the streets of modern-day Manhattan. Shocked by this strange new environment that doesn't operate on a "happily ever after" basis, Giselle is now adrift in a chaotic world badly in need of enchantment. But when Giselle begins to fall in love with a charmingly flawed divorce lawyer who has come to her aid--even though she is already promised to a perfect fairy tale prince back home--she has to wonder: can a storybook view of romance survive in the real world?

LupCheong's Field Report on TBP's Chalet (Taken from BlowingWind Forum)

The Bear Project Chalet 7 Nov 2007

I attended The Bear Project Chalet Gathering for the first time on Deepavali Holiday eve which was held at Aloha Changi Chalet K.

Upon reaching the chalet and fearing I could have trespassed into the wrong chalet, a large rainbow flag greeted me prominently at the front porch of the chalet building reassuring me that I had arrived at the correct destination. ph34r.gif

The organisers and helpers were seen busy decorating the entrance and living room with party balloons and making some last minutes touches to create a party atmosphere for everyone.

The theme for this party was Pride Bear Troopers and the dress code was strictly Bermudas or shorts and tank-tops / singlets / sleeveless T-shirts.

The food caterer had already arrived and was busy laying out the mouth-watering food for this get-together party.

7pm came and went and everyone who had registered to attend this chalet gathering seemed to be fashionably late as I loitered around the front entrance of the chalet. As a crowd of 60 attendees was expected, the organiser had proficiently prepared a walk-in registration table for the unavoidable attendance taking.

Wearing muscles revealing sleeveless T-shirts, tank-tops or singlets, more and more body beautiful bears and their admirers arrived and gamely displayed their name stickers on themselves while candidly posed for the designated camerawoman which is a fag-hag (I think!). biggrin.gif

Darkness fell and as majority of the participants had arrived, the organisers announced that it was time for the party to begin and started the buffet dinner close to the time of 8pm, much to the delight of all the hungry bears and admirers.

As more car headlights shoned into the front porch of the chalet signaling the arrival of more guests, everyone mingled around their own group and made small talks among themselves. While chatting with a friend, my eyes caught a glimpse of someone familiar in the sea of bears and admirers. It was the infamous Mr. Otto Fong who had made the headlines recently, mingling among the crowd.

After the sumptuous buffet dinner, the game organizers took much effort to usher the huge crowd of people into the living room of the chalet for the commencement of the game event.

As the light dimmed, a surprised birthday cake was dished out and everyone singed the Happy Birthday song to the surprised birthday bear Joe who gamely posed for a birthday shot of him French kissing his partner in front of everyone. What a sweet and loving couple! smile.gif

Let’s move on to the ice-breaking games! Everyone was grouped into teams of different colours for the game by dipping their hand into a box of coloured ping-pong ball and I was teamed together with Mr. Otto Fong’s group of 6 participants. tongue.gif

The first game the organisers had planned was the game Twister. This is the game that ties you up in knots while someone spins the dial and you move your hand and feet from one coloured circle to another.

Each coloured group send out one of their representative for each round and as Mr. Otto Fong gamely represented himself for the yellow team in the first round, cheers of "Go! Otto! Go! could be heard. Camera lights flashed and everyone cried out in infectious laughters and cheers as the 6 Twister participants contorted themselves like a mass orgy in order to win the game for their team. biggrin.gif

Eventually, one team was singled out to be the losing team and the punishment was to line themselves up on the grass patch outside while the remaining winning groups wickedly throw water bombs at them. It was such bad karma to be punishing the losers this way that I decided just to drop the water bomb on the floor instead. ph34r.gif

On to the next game! Rags and Bones (I think!)

This game required each group to number each person in their team and when a number is called out, the designated number person of the team had to sprint towards a prized shoe placed strategically in the centre of both teams. The winning team would be the one who managed to “steal” the shoe back to their safe zone without being tapped by their opponent when the prized shoe is in their possession.

It was fun seeing everyone trying to outwit one another in order to grab the shoe back to their safe zone and there was one instance when Mr. Otto Fong sort of moon-walked himself back to the safe zone at the same time making sure that he is not being chased and tapped by his opponent. It was such an entertainment seeing him in action! bw2/thumb.gif

Eventually the losing team once again faced the punishment of being bombarded by water bombs as I made my way to the kitchen to have a drink.

The 3rd game was a childhood game called “Blow Wind Blow” – blowing wind perhaps? biggrin.gif also known as “大风吹”.

This game required everyone to be seated on a chair forming a circle facing each other. There would be two chairs short and the loser would be the two person left standing in the centre of the circle without a seat. When this happens, the two person left standing would be required to call out “Blow Wind Blow” and the rest of the group would reply back “Blow What?” (no, not blow that dick lah you pervert! biggrin.gif )

The two standing person would then decide on a designated common thing which most people would be wearing or have done. Eg. Those wearing a watch…. And those who are actually wearing a watch are required to exchange seats with someone across the seated circle.

The panic among everyone escalated as more common things were shouted out in reply such as those wearing bermudas, those who wear condoms during sex and those who are wearing underwears. biggrin.gif

The classic scene was when one of the standing losers shouted out “Blow those who had sucked cock before!”. biggrin.gif

Imagine the frantic panic everyone faced and virtually everyone had to exchange seats with one another knowing that eventually there will always be two seats short. It was hilarious seeing the panic faces on everyone, including me rushing frantically to find myself a new seat. tongue.gif

The losing person eventually has to drink a cup of volka as punishment which was more humane than the water bomb throwing I think!

Nearing midnight and with everyone pespiring and panting, the organizers announced that the last game would be treasure hunting and they had hidden 10 alarm clocks within the chalet premises and at the pre-assigned time, all the alarm clocks would sound and the participants just had to find the hidden alarm clocks by tracing their ringing alarms.

By now, I decided that it was time for me to depart and it was indeed a memorable time for me in this bear project event and I could see and feel the close camaraderie among this fun loving bear fraternity. Well done Brothers! bw2/thumb.gif

TheBearProject Chalet, 7th Nov (Wed)

A big thank you to all who attended the Chalet! As this is the very first party for TheBearProject, we sincerely hoped you guys had a good time. I guess our basic agenda for this is that we can group all the bears/bear-lovers together and get to meet new friends, create friendships, forge bonds and strengthen ties. I hope we achieved a little part of that for you guys, because a little goes a long way.

There are a few friends I would like to express special thanks to. It would not have been possible without them!!! They are:

VitalAuto, Universek, Thwl (Game masters)
Martinn (Head of Finance)
Hardcore (Who made the delicious cup-cakes/brownies!!!)
Lupcheong (Who made the Egg-Mayo sandwiches!!)
Quest, CICI (Who helped booked the Chalet and contribution of Whiskeys)
Teddym (Who contributed the Vodkas)
Lostsheep, XiaoYao, Stonedwin, Balenciaga (Thanks for the washing/cleaning/balloon blowing/hanging/tying etc.)

I'm sure I left out many many more friends who had generously helped us out with the preparations and the cleaning up... sorry if I have left you out! But a very big thank you to all from the bottom of my heart. Without you guys, I wouldn't know what to do! THANK YOU :)

Updated: Chalet Fund Collection

Notice: I am sorry to inform all that there will be no physical BBQ on that day, due to the fact that its a weekday, most people are coming straight from work and would be too tired to fuss over BBQ logistics. (From my survey, the BBQ pit is far away from the entrance of the chalet and not very well equipped.) There will still be BBQ food like Satay & Otah but no sweaty BBQ action... I do not compromise on food!!! I apologize for any inconveniences and misconceptions. But not to worry, at least no need to stress about the BBQ part... just eat, relax and enjoy! :)

The collection of funds for the chalet was extremely successful and we from TBP would like to express our thanks and appreciation to you guys for making the effort to come down just for payment. It was also fun to know some of the faces behind the nicknames! *hehehe*

So those who haven't paid (or unable to pay cos' you went overseas etc.) can either proceed to pay on the chalet day itself, or you can email to thebearproject@gmail.com for the account no. to transfer the money to (we would prefer internet-banking rather than ATM transfer).

Once again, a big thank you to all and will see you guys at the chalet next week!

sincerely yours,
Asimov_22, VitalAuto, Universek, Thwl & Martinn

Balenciaga Writes: Meeting with Chris Steele, the opening of Gorgeous...

This is probably the biggest coup in the Singapore gay scene... An award winning, sexy, hunkalicious, son-of-a-gun gay porn actor turned director turned producer for Falcon and Jet Set Studios Chris Steele was in town to open a new tanning salon/ Chill-out bar Gorgeous Solarium along the neon lit street of Duxton Road taking up both the 52/53 units... I remember it was many years back when i chanced upon the movie Czech Point where Chris Steele got it hot and heavy with Pavel Novotny... That scene should be enshrined in the Gay Movie Hall of Fame!!!!!! It is STILL one of the hottest scene EVER to be done... Bar None!!!!! (wipe sweat off from brow). It was no wonder that my astigged eyes newly popped out when Asi wrote that Chris Steele was going to be in town and not only that, there's gonna be a Meet-&-Greet session for the fans!!! My heart was beating way too fast to be beneficial to my health but i did plucked up the courage to sign up...

Gorgeous Solarium was an interesting place, the all white decor filtered with blue lights gives it a modern futuristic air and the individual room were fairly large and is equipped with a tanning booth, a large mirror, a rack to house your personal belongings and a hook to hang your clothes. The showers were just tip-toes away from the room to wash off any greasy special tanning formulas you have to lather yourself with to go into the booths... Personal, i have never been to a tanning salon, so i dun really know what to expect, but in all honesty, it felt like a REALLY, REALLY high class bathhouse... No offence to the owners of Gorgeous, in fact it's more of a compliment...

A few of the guys were giving the place a good look around when Chris Steele was ushered into the meet-&-greet area... Donned in the white and orange trimmed Gorgeous T-shirt, Chris Steele looked clean shaven and fresh... He shook everyone's hand, introduced himself and joked that he'll probably not remember anyone's name since it was quite a turnout. Standing at slightly shorter than 1.8m, Chris Steele isn't exactly the tall, hardcore looking guy one makes him out to be... In fact, one can sense a bit of shyness from the gay porn icon. We talked about his experience in Singapore (he ate durians altho he doesn't love it, he'll probably not order it again), the gay clubs he has been to, his new job at Jet Set studios, what was it like working in Falcon, how long it took for Chi Chi LaRue to put on her make up and hair (2 hours!!! ONLY!!!), where he came from etc. He even showed the guys the picture he took in his new office in Jet Set and told us to go to his MySpace blog to get up-to-date info of himself.

Of cos after the short meet-&-greet session, it comes down to the shameless 'asking for autographs and photo taking' session... In fact he was the first to wanna take picture with the guys (now HOW sweet is THAT!!!) and the guys started pulling out their cameras and i pulled out the pictures i wanted him to autograph for me. "To Thomas, All the Best. For You, Chris Steele" was what he wrote on my blown up picture of him... I asked him to sign another autograph for the guys in BearProject who couldn't make it and he penned "All the guys in Bear Project, Thanks for a great time in Singapore! Chris Steele" (Discretion is advised) Chris later gave us a little tour of the place and i could hear guys whispering 'Is it him???? Yeah!!!!! It's him!!!!!' as we walk pass them. He later told us that he'll be heading to Taboo for a little meet and greet session and i bet many of the guys will be squealing and cooing over him... I later thanked Tim, the guy that help make this little gathering possible. He was an absolute angel and i told him i was surprise there wasn't any hard selling to the guest and he simply just laughed and said 'Hey, it's a party!!!! Just enjoy the food and drink and have a great time!!!' Now that's what i call A Class Act... ;)

- Balenciaga

Balenciaga is a fellow friend of ours, helpful enough to help us write an account of his experience for the Chris Steele Meet & Greet session that happened on 29th Sept @ Gorgeous Tanning Salon & Chill-out Bar. More pictures are available here. Thanks again Balen! - Asimov_22

So please sign up asap...

Here is a Wiki link which you can check out about Chris Steele. (Just google lah, you'll see TONS of stuff of him) If you're still not sure who Chris Steele is... tsk tsk tsk... time to do some homework guys seriously... For those not into porn, don't bother to attend hahahah... :)

A Tribute To our Friend, Otto Fong

Tonight when I logged on to Fridae, I nearly fell off my chair. There, on the front page of the website was a familiar face. Evenmore startling was the headline under it: "Singapore teacher removes coming out blog under ministry pressure". For those who still don't know, Otto had started a blog with an open letter to Singaporeans pleading greater acceptance of gay people. In it, he said that he had always been gay and proud of it, that being in the closet all these years working as a teacher had stunted his personal growth as a living, loving human being, and that he hoped Singaporeans would see the current anti-gay crusade for what it is - a play for more political and moral influence by a small group of religious conservatives with hate in their hearts. I spent a good half hour reading the story and going to all the websites that had reproduced Otto's coming out letter. At the end of it, I was almost moved to tears - especially when I saw the many words of encouragement sent to Otto by his students.

"Dear Mr Fong, regardless of your sexuality, you'll still always be one of our greatest ever teachers," said one of the posts, penned by two of his students who hold leadership roles in school. "We as leaders under you for two years have seen how you set the foundation for us and pushed us forward. Where we are now, especially in our CCA leadership has come from you. We strongly believe that your teaching is too valuable to be compromised because of sexual orientation. RI can't lose this gem. We hope they don't."

I couldn't help but try to recall my impressions of Otto. I have only met him twice, at two BearProject movie outings. The first time I met him, he seemed reluctant to tell me what he did for a living and where he worked. There is a big gulf to traverse between that conversation(maybe two months ago) and his actions on Saturday, and this is why I find his public revelation doubly surprising and awe-inspiring.

There are two things I want to say about what Otto has done. The first is that his simple act of bravery stands in stark contrast to everything that the anti-gay movement is, and has been doing. People will bandy the most sophisticated-sounding scientific, legal, constitutional and moral arguments. They will cite all sorts of allegedly conclusive surveys and statistical studies. But these will always ring hollow against the honesty and sincerity of personal testimony. Let's not allow the moral bigots of the world to forget that. Gay people touch the lives of those around them in a very real way. We are open and direct, and give and receive love without prejudice or judgement. Like Otto, we should be proud of who we are and what we've done for ourselves, friends and family. Whether section 377A is repealed or not, they cannot take that away from us.

And we should strive to do even better each day to prove small-minded critics wrong.

The second thing I wanted to say was that after reading Otto's letter, I asked myself whether I would be brave enough to do the same thing. Can I even be bothered to do the same thing? I know the answer in my heart and I last felt that sort of discomfort as I watched Alfian Saat's last play "Asian Boys III". For it is somewhat true that as long as I have my partner with me, and we live happily with our friends going on holiday to Taipei and Tokyo, gymming at California Fitness and having loud, raucous dinners in HDB flats that we have either rented or bought after we turned 35, that there isn't any need to hanker after more acceptance in society. What can it achieve in the larger scheme of things? What about the hurt we might cause to our parents and those who love us, as well as our careers?

I don't know the answer to those questions. I think everyone's answer will necessarily be different and very few will be goaded into action like Otto was. I myself am out to my family, friends and colleagues, but I have stopped short of going public. Maybe one day I will, and I will draw my courage and inspiration from someone like Otto. For whatever happens next, he has made an indelible mark on the ongoing struggle for gay acceptance here in Singapore. We are moving slow, but every millimetre must surely count for something. And I have every hope in my heart that someday, we will get there.

P.S. I am writing to Bob Koh (headmaster@ri.sch.edu.sg), headmaster of Raffles Institution, tomorrow morning. And the next time I see you Otto, I am definitely buying you a drink!

- Rookcub

(Rookcub spoke & emailed me his reactions from the recent series of events that happened to our friend Otto. I think Otto deserves more than a pat on the back... So Otto, you too will have my utmost relentless support no matter what. - Asimov_22)

A Celestial Event!? (Lunar Eclipse @ 7pm-ish, 28th Aug)

Hey Astro-bears,

Apparently it has come to our attention (information was passed from a member, MnMs) that on the 28th August 2007, there will be a lunar eclipse. This is the 2nd eclipse that will happen in this year alone.

Here is a link from the NASA website, to understand better about the Lunar-eclipse happening on the day itself.

So people, MnMs is kind enough to head the astro-bears to experience this once in a lifetime event. (He'll be bringing his Telescope) He mentioned that any open area (preferably with little light-pollution) will be good enough to see it. He did suggest that either we can go to a multi-story car park thats facing the eastern side or East Coast Park. His concern is that people who don't drive might have difficulties getting to East Coast...

So please drop your suggestions so that we can come up with a compromise on locations and then gather up to watch it. How about that?

Updated: Dinner @ Straits Kitchen, Grand Hyatt (25th Aug 07, Saturday)

Well... I guess the food was yay-ok but the price is a little steep having to pay for local cuisines... But all in all I had fun! I guess the food tasted much better with the right company? No? Heheh... I'm glad you guys attended and hope you had fun. Expect the next makan session to be cheaper and food will be definitely nicer! Oh and I almost forgot... Finally gotta meet you in person XY! :) Cheers...
- asimov_22

Dear Fellow bears,

Finally the time has come for us to chomp, chomp and chomp! Since the beginning of the poll, I guess we couldn't have made the choices even more obvious *kekeke* that we "think" most of us would prefer Straits Kitchen, compared to the others. Well I voted for Kushin-bo actually... ANYWAYS... Here are the details:

Date: 25th August 2007, Saturday
Venue: Straits Kitchen, Grand Hyatt Singapore, 10 Scotts Road
Time: 7pm (have 15 mins grace... need to have 50% of ppl there by 7:15pm, so do be on time)
Per Pax: $40++ (Prices has changed, so expect it to be slightly more expensive)

Please RSVP by mid August, so that we can reserve appropriately with the Restaurant. We are capping head-counts at maximum 20-25, anything more than that will be scary! But of cos we can still book separately...

Back to Nature: Bears Go Cycling (19th Aug 07, Sun)

VitalAuto & I want to thank all who came for this event, especially those who arrived early, stood by and waited for the late-comers! I must say our logistics skills are not that great so do pardon us for the little mishaps and confusions.

I want to express our thanks to Sg_pup & his hubby for their relentless efforts for leading us the way around Ubin and other logistics stuff. If not for them, this trip would not have taken place.

Our thanks also goes out to SaltWetFish & Quest for helping us take some wonderful group pictures along the way. Also thanks to those who gave and showed support to VitalAuto for his cycling difficulties... *heheh*

Last but not least, I hope everyone enjoyed themselves as much as I did for this is the 1st time I ever been to Ubin! *Swah-Ku right?* I will upload the pictures onto Flickr soon!

Once again thank you all!

yours sincerely,
asimov_22
& VitalAuto

Time to get our ass back to nature! A great suggestion from sg_pup that we should go for a Pulau Ubin Cycling Trip. He has also graciously agreed to be our guide on the trip.

Date: 19 August 07, Sunday
Time: 8:30am
Meet-up Venue: POSBank ATM beside the food center

The Bourne Ultimatum (18 August, Sat, 7.10pm)

"Was another great installment to the Bourne Series! This is what thriller should be. Intelligent and engaging! Greengrass' direction is brilliant though the camera work could give you a headache! But it's exactly the hand held camera work, the closeup action and the urgent editing that made this such a gripping thriller! The car chase is one of the best i've ever seen! :) A Must Watch! even if it's only for Matt Damon, he's so handsome! He seems to get better looking as he gets older!" - vitalauto

"I totally agree with VA that Matt certainly looks yummier and yummier with age... *hahah* I really hated his twinky image in the past. Anyways, I haven't watched Bourne Identity 1 & 2, this one was something new for me. All in all, its not too bad though. The car chase and fighting scenes were well edited. I'm just not such a big fan of the Bourne trilogy but I think those who are should watch it loh. Thats all... " - asimov_22

881 - A Royston Tan Film (11th Aug 07, Saturday)

"For those who haven't watched this film, please please please go see it! I personally feel so far this is the best local film ever made. Not that I'm trying to sensationalize it... really its good! The OST will be a blast, I'm getting it :)

Also, I hope that in the future of any movie screenings, everyone should try not to be late. Because it won't be fair for the Ticket-Bearer to come out halfway through the movie to pass tickets and all the nonsense. Very disruptive... So I wish for everyone's coorperation! Thank you" Asimov_22

"Yes, pls watch the movie, it's a solid and entertaining movie. it's pretty moving too. Visually, it's great, colorful and OTT, very Priscilla :) However for me, it's not as good as i had expected it to be. It's like a 2nd grade Cai Mingliang movie. Biggest problem for me – all the side characters, the kare-le-fares, are all such bad actors like the pet shop owner, Jing Lang's relative, etc. They are such a distraction. Even the lead actor is quite stiff and too beautiful, but i bet lots of you will differ for all the wrong reasons. Well, anyway, still am very happy to see a good local production,. Unlike asimov, not really my fave, i humbly think 12 Storeys is still the best." Vitalauto

Cashback, A Film Review by Timberman

Hey guys, here's a personal review of a upcoming film.
Had never done any professional reviews so please bear with me =)

CASHBACK, an UK-shot romantic comedy, is about a guy, Ben Willis, who becomes an insomniac after breaking up with his girlfriend. (Much like me sometimes.. yea, now you know why I'm always sleepy and tired. Can't sleep well these days or even sleep at times. Sad right?) Having too much time on his hands , Ben decides to make better use of it by working at the supermarket. Interesting things happen as Ben gets used to the night shifts: being an artist he discovers that he seems to be able to stop time!

What I like about this film is that the story line is rather simple but laced with British humor thus making it funny and engaging. The linearity of the storyline keeps one from getting confused. It has a good reflection of real life relational issues that people experience everyday. A bit of conflict, a bash of anger, parts of sadness and ultimately joy, making one feeling emotionally balanced after watching it.

The film doesn't try to wow you with over-the-top computer graphics like Transformers but rather with good old cinematography with many scenes were portrayed in various interesting angles, making it a rather beautifully-shot film. The romantic final scene of the film with the main couple in the snow is a clear example of this.

Keeping it real I guess forms the root of this film; at the same time, the honest portrait of Ben's life just makes this movie real interesting.

UPDATED: Paprika (24th July, Tuesday)

Nice seeing all you guys again! It was nice to finally get to talk to more people this time. Smaller group, easier to handle :) Well, a visually stunning anime, but i must say it's kinda confusing at first. I would prefer The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, if it's still showing, you guys should watch it. (Thanks to hush for giving me the theme song to Paprika!)

Another good outing i must say. See you guys this Sat for Sex And The City and Sun for The Simpsons Movie!

hugs,
Vitalauto

Thanks to Hardcore, it's brought to my attention that Picturehouse has started showing Paprika! For people not familiar with the movie, here's a synopsis:

From groundbreaking director Satoshi Kon (PERFECT BLUE, MILLENIUM PRINCESS and TOKYO GODFATHERS), comes the latest eye popping anime from Japan. When a machine that allows therapists to enter into people's dreams and explore their unconscious thoughts is stolen, the research facility is sent into uproar and all hell breaks loose. In the wrong hands, the device could be devastating, allowing the user to completely destroy a dreamer's personality while they are asleep. Only a young and attractive female doctor Atsuko Chiba, can stop it. Entering the dream world under her exotic alter-ego, code name 'PAPRIKA,' she attempts to discover who is behind the plot to undermine the new invention.

Smokers, It Isn't That Bad After all (St James Power Station)

I guess this post calls out to smokers who have been doubtful about going to clubs and not being able to smoke freely anymore... Well, the positive aspects seemed very promising as one will not smell like an ash tray especially in a smaller confined space anymore. Clubs and pubs that are smaller will cause inconvenience for non-smokers, worse for those who have health issues. So all in all, I think this legislation is somewhat good in that sense.

So my argument is this, since we smokers have already been through the 'out-of-cigarettes' ordeal in the middle of the night and there are no nearby 7-11 or 24-hour coffee shops for backups, desperate enough we might even take a taxi or walk 10km to get our cigarettes (That is the extreme example), then what is walking a few meters to a nearby designated smoking area in a club? Its nothing really, even if its heavily congested with other smokers or the contending efforts we got to go through to get there!

St. James Power Station was where I went last night(8th July, Sunday) just for this purpose. Oh by the way, St James on a Sunday is a GAY night. Cos I have been there a couple of times and I always found myself complaining that its too smoky (It gets pretty bad sometimes) and hot. Big clubs like these must have a good air circulation/flow, due to the amount of smokers and also ventilation for the dance floor. *Not a club-logistic person, just guessing*

I was pleasantly surprised to find that the smoking areas are well directed are big enough for at least 20 people to smoke at one time. There are a total of 3 areas, one is at the back-end of the club(next to a bar-counter's exit), another is a room-like area with a LCD Tv playing soccer and glass panels as walls, *good place for a good look at the 'good' people* and the last one will be at the entrance of the club, with the rattan chairs and umbrellas. Thats customer-service for ya, can't imagine a club/pub that discourages smoking!

So to conclude... smokers, not to worry cos they have not forgotten about us and had embraced the legislation. I even saw someone smoked inside the club last night, but the security was polite enough to direct him to the smoking area! As compared to my work place... just feel like punching the security chief there. He's totally against smokers (Not smoking ok, he hates people who smoke!). Well, I won't say where :)

You can also contribute your reviews on anything you like! Email them to sgbearcast@gmail.com, I will certainly give credit to the authors do not worry :)
