The Bible contains six admonishments to homosexuals and 362 admonishments to heterosexuals. That doesn't mean that God doesn't love heterosexuals. It's just that they need more supervision.

CLOSED: Inglourious Basterds, 20 Sep 09 Sunday

Thanks to everyone who was there at the movie last night. I must say it was a fun watch ;) see you guys next time. cheers ~ Stonedwin

Calling all movie buffs,

Its Redemption Time.

As much as it is for Quentin Tarantino, and for those of us who weren't so tickled last Sat ;)

Directed by Tarantino and starring Brad Pitt, Inglourious Basterds has garnered great reviews and boasts one of Tarantino's best US box office showing ever.

So for all Tarantino and Brad Pitt fans, this is really a must-see!

Inglourious Basterds begins in German-occupied France, where Shosanna Dreyfus (Mélanie Laurent) witnesses the execution of her family at the hand of Nazi Colonel Hans Landa (Christoph Waltz). Shosanna narrowly escapes and flees to Paris, where she forges a new identity as the owner and operator of a cinema.

Elsewhere in Europe, Lieutenant Aldo Raine (Brad Pitt) organizes a group of Jewish soldiers to engage in targeted acts of retribution. Known to their enemy as "The Basterds," Raine's squad joins German actress and undercover agent Bridget Von Hammersmark (Diane Kruger) on a mission to take down the leaders of The Third Reich. Fates converge under a cinema marquee, where Shosanna is poised to carry out a revenge plan of her own... --© Weinstein Co. and Universal Pictures

CLOSED: Movie Outing "9", 12th Sep 09, Saturday

Thanks to all who came for the movie outing today. It was really quite a sight to have 28 bears/TBP supporters gather together :) Although the movie didn't live up to expectations for some, I'm sure everyone had a good time catching up and getting to know new friends. Hope to see the newbies join us more in future outings :) Cheers~ Stonedwin

Hi everyone,

With so many exciting movies opening in September, its time again for a movie outing! And we are kicking off with the exciting animated film '9', produced by Tim Burton.

A new era in animated storytelling begins on 9.9.09. Visionary filmmakers Tim Burton (The Corpse Bride, Charlie and The Chocolate Factory) and Timur Bekmambetov (Wanted, Nightwatch) join forces to produce wunderkind director Shane Acker’s distinctively original and thrilling tale. 9 stars Elijah Wood, John C. Reilly, Jennifer Connelly, Martin Landau, Christopher Plummer and Crispin Glover and features the music of Danny Elfman.

When 9 (The Lord of the Ring’s Elijah Wood) first comes to life, he finds himself in a post-apocalyptic world. All humans are gone, and it is only by chance that he discovers a small community of others like him taking refuge from fearsome machines that roam the earth intent on their extinction. Despite being the neophyte of the group, 9 convinces the others that hiding will do them no good. They must take the offensive if they are to survive, and they must discover why the machines want to destroy them in the first place. As they'll soon come to learn, the very future of civilization may depend on them. --© Focus Features

When I first saw the trailer months back, I was strangely moved by it and have been waiting for this ever since! So do come join us in this journey into the post-apocalytic world of '9' :)

Date: 12th September 2009, Saturday
GV Plaza, Plaza Singapura
Time: 2000 hrs

Please leave a comment by 9th September 1300hrs if you are attending.
