"Hi guys, as you may have heard already, I'll be performing Bharatanatyam at the Victoria Theatre on 29 Mar at 7 pm. Bharatanatyam, in case you're wondering, is a form of classical South Indian dance that depicts the mystic manifestation of the metaphysical element of fire in the human body (no, I won't be running around coconut trees like they do in those Bollywood movies :roll: ). I'll be performing an item dedicated to Lord Ganesha (you know, that one with the elephant head) with the rest of my class. If you're interested in catching my performance (that is, if my big tummy doesn't scare you away :P), tickets are at $10 each. Seats are extremely limited, thanks to the kiasu parents of the Indian girls also performing, so please let me know whether you want to come or not by Fri, 29 Feb.
