Transformers (30th June 07, Saturday) Updates...

Once again...

Yes I'll drink to the success of tonight's gathering of the movie Transformers! Almost everyone turned up and we had a great time. Though I thought we had just enough time to dilly-dallying around and not being late for the show, for such a big group usually there will be problems. But there were non so I'm glad everything was fine... :)

Well, I'm like the movie... but its not something I would not watch more than 3 times... I think we can all experience the amount of hard work being put into the production. The animation was intricate and being a CG person myself (which I suck at) I estimate it would probably take them a few years to come up with something as solid as this. All in all, it has high entertainment value.

So much so for another Saturday night! The next movie outing will be Harry Porter! So till then, we'll arrange something. :)

Its ZeroGravity's Birthday! (29th June '07, Friday)

I must say it was hell of a great night we had last night at ZeroGrav's bird-day bash eh? No no I'm not talking about the free booze no! Its nothing else but the GOOD company we had there! It was great, I had a great time and hope everyone else did too.

Well ZeroGrav, I must say I think you're already... what 35? *oops* We from the bearcast wish you a fruitful and fulfilling journey and may you have the joy and happiness that you deserve so much. Thanks for being a friend and you can count on us as well.

It's a Party Night People! (23th June 07, Saturday)

Hello everyone! A big thank you to all who have been supportive of the blog by coming in to read up about the latest happenings that has been going on. I wish I can post gossips but its all politically sensitive and pretty senseless anyways. Where's all the mystery and suspense than to read it off a post right hehe... nah I'm not into E! News. So don't worry. At least not here :P

So anyways, the next outing VitalAuto suggested is to go to Taboo... No its not longer a Muscle-Mary and 'Twinkle-angel' club anymore. Experience indicates that people of all sorts of shapes & sizes & creed go there now. So it has been pretty much over-ran from the typical crowd. Music is not too bad either so why not... Come join us if you have nothing better to do on a Saturday night. (But nothing is better than good music + good company isn't it...)

Hello to all my dear bears, bears-wannabe, semi-bears, disillusioned-chubs and bear-hungry friends! Hope it has been a good week and all is well with you guys!

Well, the previous event wasn't exactly a deliberately planned one so nothing special happened... except for the gossips and bitching which are the usual staple for the night... *wink* We didn't get cute/beefy/hunky bears joining us no... probably not yet... so you know I'll try my very best to get to them. At least for our next outing how about that?

You know seriously, I think I need to get more feedback. Come drop me an email, sgbearcast@gmail.com for anything! Suggestions, a date (oops), a drink etc. Oh and how about putting up links to your own blogsites or personals? Let me know about them and I can post it as part of my 'Favourite Links'? As for this announcement, it came to me by a good old friend who complained about how sick and tired he was to send a mass sms message out to many friends and at the same time coordinating outings and events... I can understand the frustration totally...

Hello again! I kinda find it silly that I think nobody will ever read these postings because nobody knows about it. Or rather not yet. Anyways nothings up on this blog page yet... I'm still figuring out my other little projects. And no, my deadline for the 1st bearcast will still be before Christmas, or maybe I should make a X'mas edition...

Well, my original idea was to have my own website where I will upload the podcasts, forums and all that stuff. The idea seemed too common and predictable, and not many people seemed to keen or excited when I told them the idea. I consulted T, who is actually an entrepreneur who have his own businesses all that, specialises in IT stuff like webpages and web content. So his initial reaction was that it will be a waste of resources to have a single website dedicated to my bearcast, at least its a waste for now. He gave an alternative by suggesting that I can upload my bearcast onto forum pages where traffic would be heavier. Thus, higher exposure.

Logical enough I thought. I will need to spur up some discussion before I get my exposure and audience. But still, I lack another bearcast buddy... so far no luck looking for that bubbly and noisy bear... or chaser or both...

Well if you happen to be reading this, and you have alot of things or issues you wish to explore and bitch about, drop me an email. Maybe you can help me out with the bearcast? :)

Under Construction

I came up with this idea of setting up a very personal and small-scale podcast, which friends and family around us can listen to and have fun. Especially with the power of computing and internet accessibility, podcasting had since became pretty common among communities. I personally got my inspiration from this other Podcast called 'Feast Of Fools - Gay Fun Show' originated from Chicago and I listened to them a lot.

Indeed they're a bunch of wacky but happy people and I thought maybe if I can do something like this, there would be much more meaningful events and opportunities for individuals to express themselves and voice out, say what they really want to say.

As for now, estimated 1st launch of the 1st bearcast will be before Christmas. That is if I'm not too busy and too lazy to get it going... Well, await my good news.
